We offer a wide variety of Membrane Descalant/Cleaner both high pH and low pH cleaners in both solid and liquid form. Our High pH cleaners have been designed specifically to remove silt and other organic foulants such as colloidal silica, clays and bacterial slimes from polyamide, polysulfone and thin film composite membrane surfaces. The formulation contains proprietory blend of buffers, surfactants and chelants to dissolve organic foulants and to disperse colloidal particles.
Our Low pH cleaners have been designed specifically to remove metal hydroxides, calcium carbonate and other similar scales from polyamide, polysulfone and thin film composite membrane surfaces. The formulation contains organic acid, alkaline builders and sequestering agents.
Our membrane cleaners are suitable for use with all polyamide, polysulfone and thin film, composite membranes. It can be used at temperature from 15 ºC up to the maximum recommended by the membrane manufacturer.

Product Details:

Reverse Osmosis (RO) process generally consists of pre-filter cartridge changes, mixing and addition of chemicals, and periodic membrane cleaning. These processes are critical to membrane longevity and proper system operation. Any scaling on the membrane surface would prevent the passage of the water through the membrane. As scaling occurs, the pressure it takes to force the water through the membrane increases, which in turn increases the power requirement. Our productsare specially formulated to provide maximum control of sulfate scales, iron and metal oxides.Our products are also highly effective as a dispersant for silica, organics and colloids and are compatible with all leading RO membranes. We offer a wide range of low and high pH Antiscalant/dispersants.

Biocides can be used either on line or as part of a cleaning program to control biofouling in reverse osmosis (RO) membranes. When used as an on-line treatment, the biocide should be dosed prior to the RO system to control bio-growth in the membranes.Application frequency of biocide will normally depend on biological loading and biofilm growth rate.Our range of biocides are fast-acting, non-oxidizing, with a broad spectrum of activity developed to control the planktonic and sessile microorganisms that may form as biofilms on RO membrane surfaces and in pre-treatment vessels and pipework.Our products are fully compatible with polyamide RO and NF membranes.
