We offer a wide variety of Membrane Descalant/Cleaner both high pH and low pH cleaners in both solid and liquid form. Our High pH cleaners have been designed specifically to remove silt and other organic foulants such as colloidal silica, clays and bacterial slimes from polyamide, polysulfone and thin film composite membrane surfaces. The formulation contains proprietory blend of buffers, surfactants and chelants to dissolve organic foulants and to disperse colloidal particles.
Our Low pH cleaners have been designed specifically to remove metal hydroxides, calcium carbonate and other similar scales from polyamide, polysulfone and thin film composite membrane surfaces. The formulation contains organic acid, alkaline builders and sequestering agents.
Our membrane cleaners are suitable for use with all polyamide, polysulfone and thin film, composite membranes. It can be used at temperature from 15 ºC up to the maximum recommended by the membrane manufacturer.
